امروز برای هماهنگ کردن سرویس ایاب وذهاب جهت شرکت درکارگاه بیرجند هم از طریق کارشناسی گروه های آموزشی و هم معاونت پشتیبانی اداره پیگیری کردم.که درنهایت اعلام کردند سرویس نیست

همکاران درصورت تمایل شرکت درکارگاه، رفت وآمد بعهده خودمان است

Once upon a time on a sunny day, a crow saw a piece of cheese.  Quickly, he went and picked it up with his peek.  He flew and sat on a branch of a tree so he could eat his cheese in peace.
The fox was watching the crow, and he was thinking of doing something to get the cheese from the crow.  He approached the tree that the crow was sitting on and started to brag about the crow: “ wow, what beautiful wings with such nice color you have. 

Your gorgeous black wings are rare in the world. 

 You have such nice feathers and legs.  Too bad that you don’t have a nice voice, if you did  you would have been the most beautiful bird in the world.”

The crow was so proud of all the things the fox had said about him, he wanted to sing so the fox can hear that he has a nice voice, but as soon as the crow opens his peek the piece of cheese fall down and the fox picks it up and runs away.
Just then the crow found out about the fox’s trick, but it was too late.

So my dears kids, what lesson did you learn from this story? You have to be very careful.  If someone is admiring something or someone, he most likely wants some thing. I hope that you will never be tricked by any one.

There was a goat that had a bell on his foot.  For that they called him a goat with a bell-foot.  This goat had three children called Shangool, Mangool and Hap-e angoor.  Shangool was gold, Mangool was colour of Hana and  Hap-e-angoor was black.
   The goat would go to the field so have some food for the little goats.
   One day she called her children and said: “my dears when I am not home if someone came and wanted to visit, tell them to come back later when mommy is home and if I knocked look at my hands and they are the colour of Hanna.

Lady goat went and on the other side the wolf saw that she left and was happy.  He rubbed his tummy and said “yum, yum, what delicious meal, I should go and tick them and have them for lunch and supper.” He went to the house and knocked.
  Who is knocking? Wants to walk in?
  The wolf changed his voice and said “ it’s me your mom, I have milk for you. Open the door my dears.”
  Shangool said “ if you are our mother show us your hand from under the door” The little goats said all together “ go, go you shameful wolf. The hand of our mother, the goat with the bell-foot, is the colour of Hanna.

The wolf went and washed his hands and put Hana on them, and came back to their house.
He knock and said that my children open the door , it’s me the goat with the bell-foot. I have milk in the breast, and grass on teeth. Open the door mom has come from the far with a load.
  The children said “show us your hands from the bottom of the door.”
  The wolf showed them his hands.
  Hapeangoor said “kids wait.” But They went and opened the door and as soon as the door opened the wolf jumped inside the house.
  The kids were scared and were trying to escaped but the wolf got Shangool in one paw and Mangool in the other.  

Once upon a time there was a clever chubby lamb.  This lamb was very mischievous.  One day that he had gone to the field with the herd, he began playing around and running here and there until he got tired and sat and fell sleep.


When he woke up, he noticed that he is very far away from the herd. 
Suddenly he heard a horrifying sound and found a wolf in front of him. 

 The wolf was slobbering and said “ wow, what a delicious meal.”
The little lamb noticed that if he doesn’t think fast the wolf will eat him.
  So he said “ Mr. wolf before eating me fulfill my wish first.”

The wolf was surprised and said “ what wish?”
The lamb said “ I have a nice voice and I like singing, before being eatenlet me sing first.”

The wolf thought that there is no problem and listen to the lamb sing and then I eat him.  The wolf let the lamb sing.
The lamb started to sing and he made ba ba noises so much that the herd’s dog heard his voice and started running toward him. 

 The wolf saw that the dog is running toward him and with a hungry stomach stared to run away.
With this thought the lamb saved his own life.

    

So kids remember to be hopeful all the time and try to think in all
situation just like our little lamb.

In a little lake 3 fish lived. The green fish was smart and clever. The orange fish was less clever and the red fish was not clever at all.


One day two fisherman passed by the lake and decided to bring their net to catch some fish.  The 3 fish heard what the fishermen were saying.


The green fish that was smart did not waste any time and escaped from a small  passage that connected the little lake to a river.

The next day the fishermen arrived and closed the passage.
The orange fish had just noticed the danger, told himself that if I don’t think of a way I will be captured by the fishermen.  He pretended to be dead and floated on the top of the water.


One of the fishermen thought the fish is dead and caught him and threw him over to the river. The fish took advantage of this time and escaped.

The red fish that did not use his brain moved this way and that way and was eventually caught by the fishermen.

There was an old lady whose daughter lived on the other side of the jungle.
One day she missed her daughter and her son-in-law, and decided to visit them.


 The way of the jungle was long, dangerous and full of animals.  The next morning she put her stuff together and was on her way.

She hadn't gone far yet that she was  confronted by the wolf. The wolf said " wow what a great meal, a wonderful one."
The old lady was afraid but did not lose her cool.
"Hi hi Mr.. wolf. how are you feeling? You are nice and kind, clean and well spoken.  Please step aside please let me get on my way.. I want to go to my daughter and son-in-law."
The wolf said " no way I let you go, it's been two days that I have had anything to each and haven't given my kids any food"
The smart old lady said " I am small and tiny, see how weak I am. Let me go to my daughter's, I will be eating all sort of different kind of food and I will gain a lot of weight. Then I'll come and you can eat me."

The old lady went on her way until it was noon time.  All of a sudden a big tiger jumped in front of her from a tree, and with a howl said: " wow what a great meal, a wonderful one"
The old lady was very scared but tried to keep her coo and said " hi my tiger my beautiful tiger. I know you are kind let me go to my party"
The tiger said "I am hungry old lady."
The old lady with a sigh said" I am no use for you, just skin and bone. Let me go to the party, you know the reason? I want to go and eat roasted chicken and all sort of food and get chubby."
The tiger was satisfied and told her to go but come back very soon.

 

The old lady continued her journey until sun down when a horrifying sound of a lion froze her on her spot. The old day with such a nice tong said "
Hay Mr.. Lion the king of the Jungle
The Lord of tiger and wolf
You are the king of all the animals
You are the Lord of Elephants and mouse
It is lat let me go, I have got lots to do.
The lion said " No way I let you go, the road is closed you cannot go"
The old lady with her wisdom said " wow what a pleasure, but I am very tiny and weak. Let me go to the party, you know the reason? I want to eat roasted chicken and all sort of food. Then I'll be chubby and fat then I'll be back . You can eat me."
The lion said " I have given up eating you , I'll be here waiting for you"

Dictation Type Tests

 

 

Outline Of Dictation Type Tests

 

Introduction

 

Dictation is one of the highly valid and reliable measures of language proficiency . Cohen ( 1980 ) claims that dictation is a contextualized spelling test because it has traditionally been used to test students’ spelling ability . The modern use of dictation , however , departs from its traditional treatment because dictation , as it is used nowadays , does not introduce the text word by word , but chunk by chunk . Procedures for administering the test , interpreting the scores , and maintaining practicality have led to the development of the so called standard dictation along with a variety of alternative techniques such as partial dictation , elicited imitation , dicto-comp , and dictation with competing noise . Each will be discussed briefly .

   

I. Standard Dictation

 

The most frequently used type of dictation is the standard dictation . The length of the passage is set somewhere between 100 – 150 words . Dictation is usually read and the examinees are required to write down what they hear .

The dictation passage should be read three times . The first reading gives the examinees a chance to obtain the general idea of the passage , During this reading , examinees are not allowed to write down the passage . The second reading is the most important part of the administration because during this reading , the examinees should write down what they hear.  The second reading is performed at a normal rate of speech with appropriate pauses and punctuation marks provided . Finally , the third reading is performed in a manner similar to that of the first reading , The purpose of the third reading is to allow students to check their performance .

In all three readings the passage must be read at a normal rate of speech .

 

II. Partial Dictation

 

In partial dictation a passage with some deletions is given to the testees , but read in complete form. The testees are required to fill in the deleted parts as they hear the passage . Partial dictation is , in fact , an activity somewhere between cloze and dictation tasks . It is similar to dictation in that the passage is read to the testee and it is similar to cloze in that the testee should fill in the blanks .

 

III. Elicited Imitation

 

In elicited imitation the testees are required to imitate or repeat what they hear . It is called elicited because the tester tries to elicit some pieces of information . The task is classified as a kind of dictation type activity because the examinee has to produce what he hears , of course not in the written form as in standard dictation , but in oral form . This technique is quite effective with children and preliterate adults .

 

IV. Dicto – Comp

 

It is an activity formed from the combination of dictation and composition . In dicto – comp the materials are presented to the examinees orally at a normal rate of speech , and they are required to write down what they have heard . It is similar to dictation in that the materials are given to the examinee orally . It is similar to composition in that the testees should compose the text they hear . This technique is more appropriate for the students at intermediate and advanced levels of proficiency .

What is language ?

 

When we study human language , we are approaching what some might call the “ human essence ,” the distinctive qualities of mind that are , so far as we know , unique to man .

Whatever else people do when they come together – whether they play , fight , make love , or make automobiles – they talk . We live in a world of language . We talk to our friends , our associates , our wives and husbands , our lovers , our teachers , our parents , our rivals , and even our enemies . We talk to bus drivers and total strangers . We talk face-to-face and over the telephone , and everyone responds with more talk . Television and radio further swell this torrent of words . Hardly a moment of our walking lives is free from words , and even in our dreams we talk and are talked to . We also talk when there is no one to answer . Some of us talk aloud in our sleep . We talk to our pets and sometimes to ourselves .

The possession of language , perhaps more than any other attribute , distinguishes humans from other animals . According to the philosophy expressed in the myths and religions of many peoples , language is the source of human life and power . To some people of Africa , a newborn child is a kintu , a “thing” not yet a muntu , a “person” . Only by the act of learning language does the child become a human being . According to this tradition , then , we all become “human” because we all know at least one language . But what does it mean to “know” a language ?

When we know a language , you can speak and be understood by others who know that language . This means you have the capacity to produce sounds that signify certain meanings and to understand or interpret the sounds produced by others .

Most everyone knows a language . Five-year-old children are nearly as proficient at speaking and understanding as their parents . Yet the ability to carry out the simplest conversation requires profound knowledge that most speakers are unaware of . This is true for speakers of all languages . A speaker of
